As the cofounder and CEO, Thuc combines social and business experience with strong technical skills to lead OhmniLabs’ efforts to develop meaningful products. He is a serial entrepreneur who previously co-founded two companies; Katango and Tappy were acquired by Google and Weeby.co, respectively. With a BS degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD degree from Stanford University, both in Computer Science, Thuc has extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms. Thuc is also a Research Scientist and Assistant Professor at John Von Neumann Institute of Vietnam National University. Thuc has been involved in many community projects. One of them is VietSeeds, a nonprofit organization he co-founded since 2011 to empower hundreds of underprivileged students in Vietnam. He also invests in early stage startups and helps grow the ecosystem in Vietnam.
