DJ Basura started in the early 90’s tagging along with his cousins and friends at their mobile DJ gigs - house parties, school dances, weddings, etc. He learned how to mix hip hop, then eventually dance music.

Now he has a weekly party, 'ATOMIC', that has been around for 9 years. Focusing on new wave, alternative, indie, and electronic music, it's one of the longest weeklies currently in San Jose.
